All of our courses you have access to for 12 months unless specified in each individual course listed.
If you are a total newbie then we recommend starting with our 'Theory of Nails' module or one of our bundles that include your Theory then your 'Apply Gel Like a Pro' would be the next one.
We have listed the courses on our website in order that we feel they should be completed.
You can however start with any course that you wish but in order to gain a certification, then there may be some courses that will need to be completed first.
This is a very hard question as everyones learning style is different. Most of our courses include video step by step to watch, then you would need a model to practice those steps on so it does depend on how quickly you want to progress through the training.
You may find that you will get through the theory and watching the videos fairly quickly then it will just take a lot of practice after that to perfect all that you have learnt.
YES all of our courses included very in-depth step by step video instruction which are complimented by written step by step, also workbooks if required and some downloadable printing guide for your reference.
YES of course! Anyone can enrol in any of our courses at anytime.
We provide Afterpay & Laybuy to New Zealand and Australian customers. Afterpay may be available in your country, contact us to find out.
Afterpay & Laybuy allow you to buy now and pay later.
Afterpay you make 4 instalments run over a 8 week period.
Laybuy is 1 payment every week for 6 weeks.
We also accept most major credit cards and we have a recurring payment plan on certain courses. Contact us for any questions you have.
Yes once you have completed your course requirements and sent in photos of your work and passed any exams if any then you will get a certificate. NOTE: some certificates are an online version and some are printed. Refer to your course for details
To achieve a qualification through ONA, you would need to first complete some certain modules. All modules can be done in any order but if you are wanting to gain a certificate then you would need to have completed your 'Theory of Nails' module, then the 'Apply Gel Like a Pro' module to receive a certificate in both of those. After that any course that you complete, so long as all course requirements have been met you will receive a certificate in.
You will be given the opportunity to resit your exams if by chance you do not pass.
This is why we like you to email through evidence and pictures of your work so we can provide feedback and let you know when we feel you are ready to sit your assessment.
Yes of course, all of our courses we teach we keep non-brand specific. We do however absolutely love the products we use and have tried and tested a lot of brands over the years and find that the wide range we have cater for everyone's needs. There may be some extra application techniques that we will show you using a particular product that we stock, if we feel that this will benefit your knowledge in being able to apply that product how it should be applied correctly. We also do provide product kit options if you decide you want to purchase a kit and these will be available at a discounted rate :)
We also run NZ Nail Academy which is a Distribution & Wholesale company and is located in New Zealand. We are the exclusive distributors for the brands we sell for NZ & Australia so they can only be purchased through us. Visit our website to view our product range.
By signing up to any of our courses you will also be given 10% discount to use within the first month plus a 5% ongoing discount for life just to say thanks.
Some of our courses include FREE zoom sessions so we can guide and watch your application.
We also offer mentorship with one of our educators if you feel you need that extra but of help. This is charged out at $80 per hour.
We can also be contacted by email, phone or through our private Facebook Support group for anyone who has purchased any of our courses.
If you decide to cancel your course within 5 days and have not accessed any of your course modules then a refund will be made less a $50 administration fee.
If you have accessed any part of your course then no refunds will be given.
All cancellations must be applied for first and must be approved by NZ Nail Academy.
If you are genuinely not happy with some component of your course then we will always try to work with you to rectify what it may be you are not happy with so please do let us know as we do pride ourselves on providing some of the best education around so will always do our best to support our students.
